Introduction
Welcome to GoPing (“GoPing”, “GoPing.in”, “we”, “our” or “us”).
GoPing is an online discovery and marketplace platform that enables users to publish, discover, browse, and connect through Listings across various categories and opportunities. GoPing provides the technological infrastructure through which users may publish information, discover Listings, and connect directly with other users.
This Privacy Policy explains how GoPing may collect, receive, use, process, store, disclose, protect, and retain information in connection with your access to or use of the Platform and its features and services.
This Privacy Policy forms an integral part of GoPing's Terms of Service and should be read together with them and the applicable Community Guidelines and other Platform policies. The Terms of Service, this Privacy Policy, and such policies collectively govern your use of the Platform. Any violation of this Privacy Policy or the Terms of Service may constitute a violation of the terms governing your use of the Platform and may result in appropriate action by GoPing, including restriction, suspension, or termination of access, subject to applicable law. This Policy shall also apply to any future products, services, features, or technologies introduced by GoPing that involve the collection, use, processing, storage, disclosure, or retention of personal information.
By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. Where consent is required under applicable law, your use of the relevant feature or service will be subject to such consent. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should not use the Platform.
GoPing does not knowingly collect, process, or store personal data of children under the age of 18 without verifiable parental consent. In accordance with Section 9 of the DPDP Act, 2023, if we identify such data collected without valid consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Definitions
For purposes of this Privacy Policy:
“Account” means a registered user profile created on GoPing to access features of the Platform, including publishing or managing Listings and using other features made available by GoPing.
“Content” means information, materials, text, images, photographs, videos, documents, data, Listings, Business Profiles or other material uploaded, submitted, published, displayed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Platform by a user.
“Listing” means any information, advertisement, offer, requirement, profile, posting or other Content published by or on behalf of a User on the Platform in relation to any lawful goods, services, opportunities, businesses, properties, employment, education, events, products or other offering or requirement, by other users.
“Personal Information” means information relating to an identified or identifiable individual, as recognised under applicable law.
“Platform” means GoPing.in and the websites, accounts, Listing tools, business directory, paid promotional features, applications, APIs, and other products, features or services operated or made available by GoPing from time to time.
“Services” means the products, features, tools and services made available by GoPing through the Platform from time to time.
“User”, “you” or “your” means any individual or entity that accesses, browses, registers for, interacts with, or otherwise uses the Platform.
“Public Information” means information that you voluntarily publish through a Listing or otherwise choose to make publicly accessible through the Platform.
“Applicable Law” means laws, regulations, rules, orders, directions, judgments and other legal requirements applicable to GoPing, the Platform, or the relevant processing of information.
“Third-Party Services” means services, technologies, platforms, websites, applications, infrastructure, or other services operated or provided by persons or entities independent of GoPing.
Unless the context requires otherwise, references to the singular include the plural and vice versa, and “including” means “including without limitation”.
Applicability
This Privacy Policy applies to information processed by GoPing in connection with your access to or use of the Platform, including information provided by you, generated through your use of the Platform, collected automatically, or received from third parties.
GoPing operates as a public discovery and marketplace platform. Information that you intentionally publish through a Listing may therefore be visible to other users and, where technically possible, may be indexed, cached, displayed, or otherwise made available through search engines or other third-party services. You are responsible for determining what information you choose to make publicly available through the Platform.
GoPing does not currently provide an internal messaging or communication system between users. Where users choose to contact one another using contact information made available through a Listing, any communication occurring outside the Platform is between the relevant users and is outside GoPing’s control. This Privacy Policy does not govern information independently collected or processed by third parties or information exchanged directly between users outside the Platform.
Where a specific service or feature is accompanied by a separate privacy notice, that notice will apply to the relevant processing to the extent of any inconsistency with this Privacy Policy.
Types of Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the Platform and the features you access, GoPing may collect or receive the following categories of information:
User-Provided Information
When you register for an account to access the Services, you may have to provide us with the following information:
Personal information: Name (firstname and lastname), email, phone number with country code.
Account Information: Password (as set by the user) and uploaded images of yourself or the institution.
If you correspond with us by email, we may retain the Content of your email messages, your email address and our responses. We also retain any messages you send through the Service for a reasonable period, which you can recover post deletion.
When you publish or manage a Listing, use a feature, contact GoPing, or otherwise voluntarily provide information through the Platform, we may collect information you choose to provide, including information relating to your identity, contact details, Account, Listing, business or professional activities, preferences, and other information relevant to the particular feature or service you use.
When creating or managing a Listing, you may choose to provide information relevant to the Listing, which may include descriptions, images, pricing, location, contact details, business or professional information, and other details you intend to make available to other users.
Account and Authentication Information
We may collect information necessary to create, manage, authenticate, secure, and recover your Account and to associate Listings and other activity with the appropriate Account. This may include login credentials, authentication information, Account identifiers, and information relating to login or account-security activity, depending on the authentication methods made available by GoPing.
Payment Information
Where you purchase paid services, we may receive or process information relating to the relevant transaction, such as transaction identifiers, payment status, billing information, and other information reasonably necessary to process, confirm, record, or support the transaction.
Automatically Collected Information
When you access or use the Platform, we may automatically collect technical, usage, and diagnostic information associated with your device or interaction with the Platform. This may include internet Protocol (IP) address; browser type and version; device type and operating system; device identifiers and similar technical identifiers; language preferences and time zone; date and time of access; pages or screens visited and search queries; clickstream, session, and login activity; referral URLs; authentication and security logs; error and crash reports; performance and diagnostic information; approximate location derived from technical information; and cookie identifiers and information collected through similar technologies.
Location Information
Where available from technical information associated with your use of the Platform, we may process approximate location information, such as an approximate city, region, or country, for purposes including providing and improving the Platform, understanding usage, maintaining security, preventing fraud, and other purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
GoPing does not intentionally collect precise device location through the Platform unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular feature and permitted by applicable law.
Information Generated Through Your Use of the Platform
We may collect information generated through your interaction with the Platform, including information relating to Listings you create, edit, save, or remove, searches and preferences, features you use, Platform settings, reports submitted, and security or administrative activity associated with your Account.
We may use such information to operate and improve the Platform, provide support, maintain security, and detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to fraud, scams, abuse, suspicious activity, or other misuse of the Platform.
Information from Third Parties
Where permitted by applicable law, we may receive information from third parties where reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, or provide the Platform or a feature requested by you. This may include information relating to authentication, account or identity verification, payment confirmation, fraud prevention, security, customer support, or other legitimate operational purposes.
Where information is collected directly by an independent third party for its own purposes, that collection and subsequent processing will be governed by the third party's applicable privacy policy and terms.
Public Information
Information that you voluntarily publish through a Listing or otherwise make publicly available through the Platform may be accessible to other users and, where applicable, search engines or other third parties. You are responsible for determining what information you choose to make publicly available through the Platform.
Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide to GoPing, including information contained in Listings or your Account, is accurate, complete, lawful, and reasonably up to date.
GoPing may rely on information provided by users and does not independently verify all information submitted or published through the Platform. Where reasonably necessary, GoPing may request additional information or take appropriate action in relation to information that appears inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, fraudulent, or inconsistent with applicable law or Platform policies.
Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
GoPing does not intentionally require users to provide Personal Information that is unnecessary for the relevant feature or service.
Users should avoid publishing confidential, financial, highly sensitive, or other unnecessary Personal Information through publicly accessible Listings unless they are legally authorised and intend for such information to be made publicly available.
GoPing does not intentionally collect or require sensitive payment credentials, such as UPI PINs, internet banking passwords, or similar authentication credentials, through the Platform. Where such information is required for a payment, it is generally handled directly by the relevant authorised payment service provider.
Nothing in this section prevents GoPing from collecting or processing information where required or permitted by applicable law, or where reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, or administer the Platform.
How We Use Your Information
We may use the information we collect or receive for the following purposes:
Providing and Operating the Platform
We may use information to provide, operate, maintain, and support the Platform and its features, including enabling users to create and manage Accounts and Listings, browse and discover Listings, access available services, and use paid features.
Account Management and Authentication
We may use information to create, authenticate, maintain, secure, and manage Accounts, verify account activity or ownership where appropriate, recover access, prevent unauthorised access, and associate Listings and other activity with the relevant user. We may also use information to identify or verify users where reasonably necessary for account security, fraud prevention, Platform administration, or compliance with applicable law.
Facilitating User Connections
We may use information voluntarily provided through Listings or Business Profiles to facilitate discovery and connection between users, including making such information available to other users where necessary for the intended purpose of the relevant Listing or feature.
Improving and Developing the Platform
We may use technical, usage, and other information to understand how the Platform is used, identify and resolve technical issues, analyse performance, develop and improve features, and enhance the functionality, reliability, and user experience of GoPing.
Security, Fraud and Misuse Prevention
We may use information to maintain the security and integrity of the Platform and to detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to fraud, scams, abuse, suspicious activity, unauthorised access, security incidents, and other misuse of the Platform.
Listings, Content and Platform Administration
We may use information to administer Listings and other user-provided Content, respond to reports, enforce our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and other applicable Platform policies, and take appropriate action in relation to suspected violations or misuse.
Paid Services and Transaction
Where applicable, we may use information to provide and administer paid services, process and confirm transactions, maintain transaction records, provide customer support, process refunds, prevent payment-related fraud, and meet applicable accounting, taxation, audit, or legal requirements.
Communications and Support
We may use information to communicate with you regarding your Account, Listings, transactions, security matters, customer support requests, Platform features, policy updates, and other matters relating to your use of the Platform.
Analytics and Promotional Services
Where applicable, we may use information to understand user interactions and preferences, measure Platform usage and the effectiveness of promotional services, and develop, provide, and improve promotional, advertising, and other visibility-related services.
Legal and Regulatory Compliance
We may use information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, court orders, or lawful requests from competent authorities, or to establish, exercise, or protect GoPing's legal rights and interests.
Aggregated and De-Identified Information
We may aggregate, anonymise, or otherwise de-identify information so that it does not reasonably identify an individual and may use such information for purposes including analysing Platform usage and trends, improving our services, conducting research, preparing reports, and supporting business and operational decisions.
Business and Corporate Purposes
We may use or disclose information where reasonably necessary in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, investment, sale or transfer of all or part of our business or assets, insolvency proceeding, or similar corporate transaction, subject to applicable law.
Professional and Business Services
We may use or disclose information to professional advisers, service providers, and other persons supporting GoPing where reasonably necessary for legal, financial, accounting, insurance, compliance, security, operational, or other legitimate business purposes, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards where required.
At Your Direction or With Your Consent
We may use or disclose information where you request or authorise us to do so, where necessary to provide a feature or service requested by you, or where you otherwise provide consent where required by applicable law.
Automated Moderation and Content Review
Where applicable, we may use automated systems, technical tools, or other processes to identify, detect, flag, classify, or review Listings, Content, or activity that may violate our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, applicable law, or otherwise present a risk to the Platform or its users. Such processes may be supplemented by human review where reasonably necessary.
Other Users and the Public
Information that you voluntarily publish through a Listing, Business Profile, or other publicly accessible feature may be made available to other users, visitors, search engines, or other third parties that lawfully access such information. The extent to which such information is visible will depend on the feature and settings applicable to the relevant Listing or Content.
Third-Party Service Providers
We may share information with third-party service providers, contractors, technology partners, infrastructure providers, and other organisations that support the operation or delivery of the Platform, including providers supporting hosting, storage, authentication, payments, communications, customer support, analytics, security, fraud prevention, technical maintenance, and other operational functions. GoPing enters into appropriate data processing agreements with all third-party service providers to ensure compliance with the DPDP Act, 2023.
Where such providers process Personal Information on GoPing's behalf, they may access or process it only to the extent reasonably necessary for the relevant services or as otherwise permitted by applicable law and contractual arrangements.
Third-Party Features and Services
Where you choose to use a feature, integration, payment service, or other functionality provided or supported by an independent third party, we may share information reasonably necessary to enable that feature or service.
Such third parties may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies, terms, and applicable law. GoPing does not control the independent processing activities, systems, security practices, or policies of such third parties and, except to the extent required by applicable law, is not responsible or liable for their independent acts or omissions.
Professional Advisers and Business Partners
We may share information with professional advisers, consultants, insurers, auditors, accountants, legal advisers, and other persons supporting GoPing where reasonably necessary for legal, financial, compliance, security, operational, or other legitimate business purposes.
Corporate Transactions
We may share information where reasonably necessary in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, investment, sale or transfer of all or part of our business or assets, insolvency proceeding, or similar corporate transaction, including with prospective or actual purchasers, investors, lenders, advisers, or successor entities, subject to applicable law.
Legal, Regulatory and Law Enforcement Disclosures
We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, court order, or lawful request from a competent authority, or where reasonably necessary to investigate, prevent, or address fraud, security threats, unlawful activity, or other misuse of the Platform, or to establish, exercise, or protect GoPing's legal rights and interests.
With Your Consent
We may share information where you request or authorise us to do so, where necessary to provide a feature or service requested by you, or where you otherwise provide consent where required by applicable law.
Aggregated or De-Identified Information
We may share aggregated, statistical, anonymised, or otherwise de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual, including for research, analytics, reporting, business, operational, or other lawful purposes.
General Third-Party Provision
Where information is shared with or made available to an independent third party, that third party's collection, use, disclosure, storage, retention, and protection of information may be governed by its own privacy policy, terms, and applicable law. Users should review the relevant third party's privacy policy and terms before using its services or providing information directly to it.
GoPing may add, replace, or discontinue third-party providers and integrations from time to time as the Platform and its services evolve.
How Long We Retain Your Information
GoPing generally retains Personal Information for as long as your Account remains active or as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the Platform and the services you use. Information associated with your Account or Listings may therefore be retained while your Account remains active.
If you deactivate or delete your Account, GoPing may retain certain Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, accounting, or reporting requirements, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and policies, prevent fraud or misuse, maintain security, protect our legal rights and interests, or for other legitimate business and operational purposes permitted by applicable law.
The retention period may vary depending on the nature of the information, the purpose for which it was collected, and any applicable legal or operational requirements.
When Personal Information is no longer required for the purposes for which it was retained, GoPing may delete, anonymise, aggregate, or otherwise securely dispose of it, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements.
Information contained in or associated with publicly available Listings may remain accessible for as long as the relevant Listing or Content remains available on the Platform and may, where reasonably necessary, be retained for a further period for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate business purposes.
Where information has been anonymised or aggregated so that it no longer reasonably identifies an individual, GoPing may retain and use such information for lawful purposes without treating it as Personal Information, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Security Measures
GoPing implements and maintains reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect Personal Information processed through the Platform against unauthorised access, use, alteration, disclosure, loss, misuse, or destruction, having regard to the nature of the information and the risks associated with its processing. Such measures may include access controls, authentication mechanisms, encryption or similar security technologies, system monitoring, secure storage, backup and recovery measures, security testing, and measures designed to detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to security incidents.
Access Controls
Access to Personal Information is limited to authorised personnel, service providers, contractors, and other persons who require such access for legitimate purposes relating to the operation, maintenance, security, or administration of the Platform. GoPing may implement appropriate access controls and authentication mechanisms and may periodically review or modify such controls as reasonably necessary.
User-Provided and Publicly Available Information
Users are responsible for exercising appropriate care when providing, uploading, submitting, or publishing information through the Platform, including information contained in Listings, Business Profiles, Accounts, or other Content. Users should not publish or otherwise provide confidential, financial, authentication credentials, highly sensitive, or unnecessary Personal Information through publicly accessible areas of the Platform.
Information voluntarily provided or made publicly available by a user is provided at the user's own discretion and risk. GoPing processes such information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy but does not control the information that users choose to submit or make public, or the manner in which other users or third parties may access, copy, use, or further disclose information that has been voluntarily made available by the user.
GoPing shall not be responsible or liable, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, for the consequences of a user's voluntary disclosure or publication of information, including where such information is subsequently accessed, copied, used, disclosed, or misused by another user or third party.
Security Monitoring and Review
GoPing may monitor, test, review, and update its systems, processes, and security measures from time to time to identify and address vulnerabilities, unauthorised access, fraud, misuse, security threats, or other risks affecting the Platform. Security measures may vary depending on the nature of the information, the relevant feature, technological developments, and applicable legal requirements.
Security Incidents and Data Breaches
If GoPing becomes aware of a security incident involving Personal Information, GoPing will notify the Data Protection Board and every affected Data Principal in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We will take immediate steps to investigate, contain, and mitigate the breach.
GoPing may also take such other measures as it reasonably considers appropriate to protect the Platform, its users, and the information processed through the Platform.
Third-Party Security
Where Personal Information is processed by third-party service providers on behalf of GoPing, GoPing may require such providers to implement reasonable security and confidentiality measures appropriate to the services provided and applicable legal requirements.
Where information is collected, processed, stored, or otherwise handled independently by a third party, including through a third-party website, application, payment service, communication service, or other external service, the security and handling of such information will be subject to that third party's applicable policies and practices. GoPing does not control the independent security practices or systems of such third parties and, except to the extent required by applicable law, shall not be responsible or liable for their acts, omissions, security failures, or handling of information.
No Absolute Security
Although GoPing takes reasonable measures to protect information, no method of electronic transmission, storage, processing, or security measure can guarantee absolute security. Accordingly, GoPing does not warrant or guarantee that the Platform, its systems, or information processed through the Platform will be completely secure or free from unauthorised access, cyberattacks, malware, data loss, security incidents, or other threats.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GoPing shall not be responsible or liable for security incidents, unauthorised access, loss, alteration, disclosure, or misuse of information resulting from circumstances beyond GoPing's reasonable control or from a user's own actions, omissions, devices, credentials, disclosures, or use of third-party services, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
User Security Responsibilities
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Account credentials, using appropriate security practices, and promptly notifying GoPing if they become aware of suspected unauthorised access to their Account or misuse of their information. Users should exercise caution when communicating with other users or accessing third-party websites or services through information made available on the Platform.
International Data Transfers
GoPing may use service providers, technology partners, infrastructure providers, and other third parties located in India or other jurisdictions. Accordingly, Personal Information may be transferred to, stored, or processed in jurisdictions outside the country in which you are located, where reasonably necessary for the operation, maintenance, security, or provision of the Platform or for other purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Where Personal Information is transferred outside India or otherwise subject to applicable restrictions on cross-border transfers, GoPing will undertake such transfer in accordance with applicable law and any requirements imposed by competent authorities.
The laws relating to the protection of Personal Information may differ between jurisdictions. Where required by applicable law, GoPing will implement appropriate safeguards or rely on a legally permitted basis for the relevant transfer.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that information may be processed in jurisdictions other than your place of residence, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Where information is transferred to an independent third-party service provider, the processing of such information by that third party may also be subject to its own privacy policy, contractual terms, and applicable law.
Third-Party Services and Links
The Platform may contain or rely upon third-party websites, services, technologies, payment providers, communication services, APIs, advertisements, or other third-party resources. GoPing does not own or control such third parties and is not responsible for their availability, Content, security, privacy practices, processing of information, or other acts or omissions. Your interaction with any third party is subject to the relevant third party's terms and privacy policy, which you should review before using the relevant service or providing information to it.
Where GoPing receives or shares Personal Information with a third party in connection with a service or feature, such information will be processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law, while any subsequent processing undertaken independently by that third party will be governed by its own policies and applicable legal obligations.
.No Sale of Personal Information
GoPing does not share your Personal Information with third parties for their independent direct marketing purposes, and we do not sell Personal Information for monetary consideration.
Communications Outside the Platform
GoPing does not currently provide an internal messaging or chat facility between users. Users may contact one another outside the Platform using contact information voluntarily made available through Listings or Business Profiles. GoPing does not monitor, control, verify, or participate in such communications, and any communication, transaction, arrangement, or relationship established outside the Platform is solely between the relevant users. Users are responsible for exercising appropriate caution, verifying information provided by other users, and avoiding the unnecessary disclosure of confidential, financial, or sensitive Personal Information.
Publicly Available Information
Information voluntarily published by users through Listings, Business Profiles, or other publicly accessible areas of the Platform may be viewed, accessed, copied, or shared by other users, search engines, or third parties. GoPing does not control independent access to or subsequent use of information voluntarily made public by users. Users are responsible for determining what information they choose to make publicly available and should not publish information that they do not intend to make public.
User-Provided Information
Users are responsible for ensuring that information and Content they provide or publish through the Platform is accurate, lawful, and appropriate for publication and does not violate the rights of any other person. Users should not publish confidential, financial, highly sensitive, or other unnecessary Personal Information through publicly accessible Listings or other Platform features unless they are legally authorised and intend for such information to be made public.
User Transactions and Reliance
GoPing acts as a technology platform facilitating discovery and connection between users and does not independently verify or guarantee the identity, authority, accuracy, authenticity, legality, quality, safety, availability, or reliability of user-provided information or Listings. Users are responsible for conducting their own verification and due diligence before relying on information available through the Platform or entering into any communication, transaction, agreement, or other arrangement with another user.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GoPing shall not be responsible or liable for communications, representations, agreements, transactions, disputes, losses, damages, or other consequences arising from interactions between users or from information voluntarily provided or published by users, including interactions occurring outside the Platform.
User’s Control Over Data
Users have control over the personal information that you have voluntarily disclosed. You may decline to submit personally identifiable information through the Service, however this may limit your access to our Services. You can control your data by editing or updating certain information in your profiles. You may access, update or correct certain information provided by you at any time by logging in to your account. You may access, update, or delete certain personal data at any time through your account settings. If needed, you can also contact us for assistance in modifying or deleting your information. Please note that certain data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
Users will be protected under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, which grants you the following rights.
Right to Access Information – The right to obtain details about personal data processing, including the categories of data processed and the purpose of processing.
Right to Correction and Erasure – The right to request correction, completion, or deletion of inaccurate or outdated personal data.
Right to Nominate – The right to nominate another individual to exercise rights in case of incapacity or death.
Right to Withdraw Consent – The right to withdraw previously given consent for data processing at any time.
Right to Grievance Redressal – The right to address and seek resolution for any grievances related to data processing. To report such grievances please contact support@goping.in directly.

Enforcement and Prevention of Misuse
GoPing may use information collected through the Platform to protect the security, integrity, and proper functioning of the Platform and its users, and to detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to fraud, scams, abuse, unauthorised access, misleading or prohibited Content, suspicious activity, and other misuse.
Where reasonably necessary and permitted by applicable law, GoPing may review information associated with Accounts, Listings, or Platform activity, request additional information, restrict or remove Listings or Content, suspend or terminate Accounts, restrict access to features, or take other appropriate measures to enforce its Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, this Privacy Policy, and other applicable Platform policies.
GoPing may also use information to investigate complaints or reports submitted by users, respond to suspected violations, protect users and the Platform from harm, and cooperate with competent authorities where required or permitted by applicable law.
GoPing does not undertake to monitor all Listings, Accounts, communications, or activity on the Platform and does not guarantee that all prohibited, fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful activity will be detected or prevented.
